Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Ace Lib is a hip-hop artist who turns real-life experiences into honest, relatable music. His songs live in the space between confidence and vulnerability—where relationships get complicated, heartbreak gets personal, and sometimes the hardest truth is admitting the role you played in your own story.

Rather than presenting a perfect version of himself, Ace Lib uses music to say the things people often think but don't say out loud. Love, rejection, loyalty, regret, pride, accountability and growth all find their way into his records. His approach is conversational and personal, giving listeners the feeling that they're hearing somebody tell the truth rather than simply listening to another rap song.

THE MUSIC

That honesty is at the center of Ace Lib's album, Maybe I'm the Problem.

Built around relationships and everything that comes with them, the project explores different sides of love—from wanting someone who doesn't want you back to taking someone for granted, questioning your decisions, dealing with loneliness and eventually looking inward.

The title itself represents that realization:

What if everybody else isn't always the problem? What if sometimes it's me?

Across the album, Ace Lib doesn't pretend to have all the answers. Instead, he documents the process of figuring them out. Some records are vulnerable. Some are confident. Some are painful. Others capture the frustration, humor and contradictions that come with modern relationships.

Together, they tell one larger story about what happens when love forces you to confront yourself.

For Ace Lib, the goal isn't simply to release songs. It's to build a connection with people who recognize pieces of their own lives in them.

Because everybody has experienced rejection.

Everybody has missed somebody they probably shouldn't.

Everybody has questioned whether they made the right decision.

And at some point, almost everybody has had to look in the mirror and wonder:
